Homework tonight: "What Causes Weather" worksheet (read & answer Questions).  After school help will resume next week.   If you have not yet brought in a permission note from your parent or guardian, you can print this out, get it signed, and bring it in:

I hereby give permission for my son/daughter/ student (name)_______________________ to stay after school with Mr. Goldsmith and other students. Mr. Goldsmith and other Rippowam teachers are allowed to provide to my son/daughter/ student:

• extra help or academic enrichment, snack (food and drink such as a small bag of chips and Hi-C or similar drink), and give extra credit, but only if earned by my son/daughter/ student spending most of their time working on school-related work;
• allow my son/daughter/ student to participate in age-appropriate play, such as playing touch football or frisbee with other Rippowam students, or 
• the ability to work on  the Rippowam Community Garden, including preparations or clean up in the building, except that my son/daughter/ student will not receive extra credit for this activity;
• allow my student to board and ride the late bus provided by Stamford Public Schools, or to wait at the school for a ride from me or another family member, or to walk home if that is my son/daughter/ student's custom.   

I hereby give permission for any medical treatment that may be necessary in case of an emergency.
