Also, we discussed movement of heat, including convection. So, be prepared to answer questions about the following:
Convection is the movement of heat through
moving liquid or gas, such as air. The picture above shows a Land Breeze, which is an example of how convection works. Warm air rises, cool air sinks. When this happens over and over, this forms a convection current -just follow the arrows in the picture. So, a Convection Current is where gas (or liquid) is heated so it rises, then cools off and sinks,
over and over.
