Period 1 - None
Period 2 - WRITE YOUR ANSWERS ON YOUR MAP: For Land and water that covers the Earth's surface according to our map, find the class':
6.a. Mean (average water & average land) - (Add all numbers in column, then divide by the number of numbers. ) If you don't know how to do this, look at p. E-26 of the e-book. If you don't remember the user name and password, look at the Resources for Students half-sheet that should be taped on the inside front cover of your science notebook.
6.b. Median - (Middle number) If you don't know how to do this, look at p. E-26 of the e-book.
6.c. Mode - (the number that appears the most often) If you don't know how to do this, look at p. E-26 of the e-book.



Period 4 - What did you learn on the Soundwaters field trip?  Write at least 3 good sentences.
Periods 6 and 7 - Answer Earth's Surface Analysis Question 2 from p. E-26 in your science notebook.  AQ 2 reads: "The water on the Earth can be found in many places, including lakes, rivers, icebergs, oceans, and even underground. Based on your work in this activity, where do you think that most of the water on the Earth can be found?  Explain your reasoning."
