Feel the Beat project (Due 12/18/17- NOTE: this date has been changed).  

Day 4 - 
12/7    For your Lab Report, work on data analysis for your experiment using your data table. Data Analysis should include: 

• Find the range of your heart rate data,
• Find the mean of your heart rate,
• Find the median of your heart rate,
• Find the mode of your heart rate, and
• Make a bar graph of changes in your heart rate.
• Your bar graph MUST INCLUDE: 
• a Title
• Label your data on the X and Y axes;
• Show units (BPM) on the Y axis;
• neat, colorful filling in the bars. Use color or pictures or a pattern (dots, stripes, little hearts, etc.).

Mini-lessons and homework assignments: 

• 12/8-12/10  Catch up or work ahead (remember, e.c. for early turn in)
• 12/11 Conclusions
• 12/12 Poster assembly
• 12/13 Assess: Are your done?  Work on Lab Report, packet, poster, Self-Assessment on your Rubric.
• 12/14  Complete Lab Report, packet, poster. Revise Self-Assessment Rubric if needed.
• 12/15  Turn in Lab Report, packet, poster. Revise Self-Assessment Rubric 

Extra help on your project will be available:
- after school (M, T, Th)
- lunchtime (best if you bring a bag lunch)
- before school (by appointment)
- may also be available from Mr. Forniciarri, Ms. Jacobs, Ms. Lawlor, Ms. Lynam, or Ms. Martin.
