Air
mass – A huge body of air that has similar temperature (warm or cold),
pressure (H igh or L ow), and humidity throughout. A High Pressure air mass usually brings
fair (clear skies, not cloudy) weather. Pressure going lower indicates
an approaching storm, with lowest pressures found in hurricanes and other
huge storms.
