Homework: 

All Classes - Work on your Lab Report.  Do each of the following steps that you have not completed in class:

1. Staple your "Sample Procedure for 'Dissolving Duel" sheet in between the other two pages of your Lab Report. 

2. Write your Hypothesis from class in the blank space at top of the first page  (under the Name blank, and to the left of the "Dissolving Duel" Lab Report title. Write:

Hypothesis: If we mix solutes with water or ethanol, then ____________ will dissolve more.

Fill in the ____________ with “water” or “ethanol”, your choice.


3.  Write a Problem in the first box. A problem is what we wanted to investigate.  It must be written in the form of a question.

4. Key Vocabulary - what vocabulary words have we used in relation to this lab?  Come up with at least two.

5. Background information - What did we do in the last 2 labs?

6. Observations - This information is on your Sample Procedure for 'Dissolving Duel" sheet.  On the Lab Report, write "See attached".

7. Data Table - This information is on your Sample Procedure for 'Dissolving Duel" sheet.  On the Lab Report, write "See attached".

8. Errors/Mistakes - Fill this out. You will not lose points for admitting to an error or mistake.  Be honest, and write down at least one mistake that you or your group made.
